

Geneva “Jean” M. Wells, 94, of Shelbyville, formerly of Greensburg, passed away peacefully with her entire family by her side, on March 20, 2015. She was born on July 10, 1920 in Evansville the daughter of James L. and Mahala Falls Sharp. Geneva married Irvin Hartsel Wells on November 9, 1939 in Anderson, Indiana and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1995. She was a seamstress at the Caroll Cook Company Shirt Factory. Geneva was a member of the United Methodist Church of St. Paul, Indiana.
Survivors include: Sons- Ronald Ray Wells of Greensburg and Donald Jay Wells of Shelbyville; Grandchildren-Dennis Wells of Greensburg and Jennifer (Chad) Ford of Georgetown, Texas; Great Grandson- Lane Wells, Great Granddaughters- Aubrey Ford and Remington Ford. She was preceded in death by: Parents, Husband, and Sister- Deloris Marie Kofoid.
A visitation for family and friends will be, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gilliland- Howe Funeral Home. Funeral services will be, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Barry Morton will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
