Lila J. Zeigler, 82 of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Lila was born on August 31, 1930 in Benham, Indiana, the daughter of William and Alta (Tunks) May. Lila married Donald Zeigler on March 31, 1961 in Greensburg and he survives.
Other survivors include Daughters: Mary Jane (Mike) Barnard of Westport, IN and Nancy (Bill) Dishner of Indianapolis, IN; Sons: Robert D. (Sandy) Smith of Greenfield, IN, Thomas Zeigler of Indianapolis, IN, and Steven (Vicki) Zeigler of Greensburg, IN; Sister: Lora Swinney; Brothers: Estol and Earl May; Seven Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents William and Alta, one Granddaughter: Christina White, one sister: Evelyn Meeks, and three brothers: Leroy, Russell, and Stanley May.
There will be a visitation for family and friends on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 4PM-8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Lila’s funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7 at 12PM also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingston Cemetery Association.
