Patricia Ann Elliott Green

Patricia Ann Green, 86, of Greensburg, passed away on May 3, 2014. She was born on February 12, 1928 in Decatur County the daughter, of Perry Ray and Edna Lowe Elliott. Patricia was a 1945 graduate of Burney High School. She married Louis Green on August 2, 1946. She worked for 20 years at Union Bank and Trust and had also been a teacher’s aide at the Burney School and a secretary at the Jackson Township School. Patricia was a member of the Burney United Methodist Church- where she was a Sunday school teacher, Tri Kappa, Decatur County Homemakers Club, and was also a volunteer at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include: Daughter- Marcia (James) Gwaltney of Salem, Sons- Bob (Billie Jo) Green of Morehead, KY and William (Kimberly) Green of Burney, Grandchildren- Matthew (Robyn) Gwaltney, Heidi (Josh) Nicholson, Megan (George) Napier, Samuel (Mandy) Green, Jake (Karla) Green, Elliott Green, and Jessica Martin, 12 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by: her Parents, Husband, Grandson- Joseph Green, Brothers- Robert Elliott, Richard Elliott, and William Elliott.

A visitation for family and friends will be at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 p.m. Pastors Bill and Tammy Leak will be officiating.
