

Richard “Dick” Morgan, 73, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014, at the IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Dick was born, the son of Harry “Johnny” and Helen Morgan, on May 13, 1941, at his parents’ home in Adams. He graduated from Burney High School in 1959. On August 28, 1970, he married Jeraldine Kamman at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greensburg and she survives.
Other survivors include three Daughters – Nannette (Robert) Tichenor of Shelbyville, Aimee (Paul) Balser of Greensburg, and Nyree (Mark) Wesseler of Greensburg; two Sons - Aaron (Robin) Morgan of Westport and Chad (Jennifer) Morgan of Greensburg; three Sisters – Bonnie Smith, Carol Wiseman, and Evelyn Shelp; 20 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Janice Dykes.
Dick worked for nearly 25 years at BCA in Greensburg, several of those years as a Shift Supervisor. After his retirement from BCA, he went to work for TOPS True Value and loved his job. He was one of the founding members of the Operation Desert Storm family support group.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4PM – 8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Dick’s Funeral Service will begin at 10AM on Wednesday, December 10 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Hebron Cemetery in Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
