Angie was born on September 11, 1967, in New Albany, Indiana, the daughter of Richard Elwood Dean Damon and Flossie Wayne (Young) Shaw. Angie was an extremely loving person with an infectious personality; she brought out the best in everyone. She accepted people for who they were and would never discriminate against anyone. She prided herself on being the business owner of Angie’s Gig, a local thrift store on 4th street. Angie loved flamingos and even made one the store’s mascot, Elwood, naming him after her late father. If you are struggling, Angie wants everyone to know, “Don't be sad, be happy, for we had an amazing time together. I love you so much, and I am so happy I got to meet you. I will always be here to chat if you need an ear. This isn’t goodbye it’s see you later.”
