Dick Coblentz

Dick was born on November 1, 1939, in Darke County to the late Lonnie & Irene (Walters) Coblentz. Dick was also preceded in death by a son, Greg Coblentz.

Dick is survived by his son, Douglas Coblentz of Covington; grandchildren, Anthony Rader, Elizabeth Coblentz, and Gabriella Coblentz; brother, Jack (DeeDee Muhlenkamp) Coblentz of Union City, Ohio; and sister, Dorothy Teegarden of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Dick retired from Hobart Brothers and Jayna in Troy. He was a member of the Greenville Eagles. Dick enjoyed mowing his lawn and always looked forward to The Great Darke County Fair. He was also known for being an avid greeting card sender.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Paul Hickernell officiating. Burial will follow in Teegarden Cemetery near Ansonia. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
