

He is survived by his children, Tina Miller and Lee Miller, of Titusville, FL; his grandchildren, Brent Miller and Jamie Miller; great-grandson, Landon Miller; his siblings, Peggy (Mark) Trask, of New Madison, OH, Tim (Jacqui) Miller, of Maple Shade, NJ and Ronda (Randy) Edwards, of Troy, OH, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family members.
James was a 1973 graduate of Arcanum High School. After high school, he worked for Corning in Greenville until he enlisted in the United States Army. James served his country faithfully as a crew chief and helicopter mechanic stationed in Alaska. James was a member of the Greenville Moose where he served as a bartender. In his free time, James enjoyed golfing and fishing and he always looked forward to getting some Fiske Fries on veteran’s admission day at the Great Darke County Fair. He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor and for his many “Jim-isms”
A private burial will take place in the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, OH at the convenience of the family.
