Jerry Allen Emerick

A proud United States Air Force Vietnam veteran, Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and

grandfather.

He married the love of his life, Linda (Drew) Emerick, on June 10, 1967, and together they shared nearly 59 years of love and adventure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Eileen Emerick; his brothers, Richard and Donald; and his daughter, Diana.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children, Brian and Carrie (Conner), Jenine and Eric Goehrich, and Kristie and Brian Thomas; and his cherished grandchildren.

Jerry loved making people laugh, traveling across the country on motorcycles with Linda, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 9, 2026, in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 North Broadway with Pastor Gary Oser officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Jerry’s honor to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
