Judy Ann Carothers

Judy was born to the late Max & Alice (Carter) Carothers and grew up in Darke County, Ohio. She attended Butler Township School, New Madison High School, and in 1962 she graduated from Arcanum High School. Later she graduated from the University of Dayton.

Judy worked at Neff Lettering, NCR, and she retired from General Motors, working mostly in security.

Judy loved sports and animals, especially cats. She was a people person, always giving things away. She passed out cold bottles of water to anyone working outside.

Judy will be missed by her sister, Helen Helton; bother, Marvin (Bonnie) Carothers; sister Maxine (Lynn) Zellers; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Recently, Judy made a profession of faith to Jesus Christ, asking Him for forgiveness.

Many thanks go to her caregiver, Kathy Koos and also to the staff at Hospice of Dayton. Thanks to all who called her to cheer her through her long illness!

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio with Pastor Ralph Vensill presiding.
