Neal Hugh Bancroft, 83, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Friday April 1, 2022. He was born February 15, 1939 in Warren, Ohio to the late Violet and Hugh Bancroft. In addition to his parents, Neal was preceded in death by his daughter, Melanie Richeson.
Neal attended Jamestown, New York schools, he was a US Navy Veteran, and a commercial truck driver for over 50 years.
Neal is survived by his wife of 60 years, Yvonne Ilona Bancroft, whom he married on April 5, 1962 and children: Kelley Brandt, Constance Knowles, Patrick Bancroft, and Lee Bancroft. He has 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren plus one on the way.
A celebration of Neal’s life and a memorial service will be held for family and friends at 2:00 PM on Friday April 22, 2022 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating, Veterans services will be conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard at the funeral home.
