January 15,1974 - November 13,2025
With great love and deep sorrow, the family of Norman Anthony Brunson announces his peaceful passing on November 13, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital. Norman was born on January 15, 1974, in Dayton, Ohio, to Alfred and Annie Brunson.
Norman attended Greenville High School and spent his life working outdoors—landscaping, farming, mowing, shoveling snow, driving trucks across the country, and attending auctions. He took pride in hard work and helping those around him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, snowmobiling, and spending time in the mountains of West Virginia and Tennessee.
Norman is survived by his loving fiancée, Jody Pruett; his son, Jacob Callahan; his daughter, Alexandria Callahan; and his beloved grandson, Easton Rothert, who was his greatest joy. He also leaves behind Dustin Reynolds, whom he regarded as a son; sisters, Alyson and Kim; brothers, Keith and Joseph; and many nieces and nephews who adored him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Annie and Alfred Brunson; his grandmother, Naomi Jones; and his nephew, Jordan Bailey.
As Norman enters his eternal home in heaven, his family finds comfort in the promise of God’s word: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.” — Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.zecharbailey.com for the Brunson family.
