I have nothing but fond memories of my Uncle Richie. He was always sweet to me as a little girl and loved to tease too. He always had an impish way about him. I always remember the day he went into the Army, standing next to me in his uniform! Nana (his Mom) was crying and very upset so I tried to console her. We had wonderful summers down the shore at Poppy’s (his Dad). I’m so happy that I kept in touch with him, living long-distance. I called him and sent him cards and I know he appreciated that. I’m relieved he is out of pain. Always loved, now Rest In Peace, uncle Richie.
