Ben Ernest (Ernie) Branch was born on 3/27/1930, and died 2/10/2015. Ernie is the last surviving member of his family. Deceased parents: Benjamin and Elizabeth Benton Branch. He was a Korean Conflict veteran, and a graduate of Wofford College and a member of the Block W Club. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he taught Sunday school. His wife of sixty-two and a half years: Jennie Branch; his daughters: Belinda, Pamela, and Jeanne Ann; sons-in-law: Herbert McBride and Don DeBelli; grandchildren: Blake (Cam) Gregory, Haley Stuhr (Jason), and Shannon Theobald; great grandchildren: Barrett and Brody Gregory, and Wyatt Stuhr. A special thanks to the loving staff, caregivers, and the Patriot Hospice at the Richard Campbell Nursing Home. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 200 Washington Street, Greenville, SC, 29601, or Epworth Children’s Home, PO Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, February 13, 2015 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with visitation be prior to the service from 12:30 – 2:00pm and burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
