Benjamin Allen Long, 88, husband to the late Pamela Mary Long, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the late Benjamin Marcus and Lula Elizabeth Long.
Benjamin Allen is survived by his children, Kyle Allen Long, daughter-in-law Nicole Long, and grandsons, Jeremiah and Samuel Long; a daughter, Colleen Pamela Chiles, son-in-law Russ Chiles, and granddaughters Belle and Blaire Chiles.
Benjamin Allen served in the Navy for four years during the Korean War. He was also the oldest serving rural letter carrier in South Carolina History.
A memorial service officiated by Dr. Ralph Carter will be held in the chapel of Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends following the service.
