Betty was born on March 5, 1937, to the late Clarence and Minnie Foster, in Greenville, South Carolina.
She was retired from Swiss Tex. In her spare time, she enjoyed cruises and cherished spending time with her children, family, and friends. She loved her Jesus Christ and singing gospel songs and was a former member of Life Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband John Fry, as well as her sister Constance Foster Starnes, and brother-in-law William Harold Starnes.
Betty is survived by her sons, Joe Ford (Pamela), Randy Ford and Kenny Ford, her granddaughter Chrisitin Ford, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for family and close friends will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, South Carolina. The family will receive guests at Kenny Ford's home, 404 Freeman Dr, Piedmont, SC 29673
