Betty Dalton Geddie

Betty Dalton Geddie,76, passed away peacefully in her home on March 13, 2023 surrounded by family. She was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Troy Dalton and Ophelia Dalton. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Betty worked as a legal secretary for over 25 years for Ogletree Deakins Law Firm. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the beloved wife of 20 years to L. Gray Geddie, Jr. mother to Donna O’Shields (Neal) of Lyman, SC and Terri Dietrich of Hardeeville, SC; and grandmother to Kristen Garrett (Jake) of Greer, SC, Nena Moradi (Tony) of Roeland, KS and Leslie Huenke (Eric) of Ridgeland, SC. A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2310 Augusta St, Greenville, SC 29605 at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 with visitation prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Private burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
