Dorothy D. Williams, 78, of Greer, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. Born in Covington, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Carrie Mae Pollard Wells. She attended Devenger Road Presbyterian Church. She was an accomplished pianist and a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all. Surviving are her husband, Herbert Williams; sons, Herb, Tom (Sandy), and John (Priscilla) Williams and daughter, Karen (Paul) Howell; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grand; and a brother, Rev. James Pollard. Services will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday in The Mackey Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Stuart Latimer. Visitation will be held 6 – 8 pm Tuesday in Mackey Mortuary. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
