Edith was born in Middletown, Connecticut on June 28, 1928. She was raised in Deep River, Connecticut by her parents on their dairy farm with her younger brother Charles.
After graduation from High School, Edith attended the New England Conservatory of Music before meeting her husband William Henry Fisher in 1948. She and her husband had two sons Robert and Christopher who were raised in Pennington, New Jersey.
Edith made her career out of teaching piano lessons in New Jersey and later in Florida. Edith especially loved to travel and did it very often. Both she and her husband volunteered playing music at places where residents could not travel to hear music. Edith’s also loved to read, swim, walk, do needlework and jigsaws puzzles.
Edith is survived by her two sons, Robert and Christopher Fisher, her daughter-in-law Judy Vonella Fisher and her two grandsons, Scott and Jeremy and his wife Anna Boffice. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years William Henry Fisher, her daughter-in-law Reba Fisher, her parents Carl and Sigrid Rosenblad and her younger brother Charles Rosenblad.
