Edith Crosby Masson

Born in Huntington, West Virginia on August 4, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Ronald Abraham (RA) and Laura Lenora (Peggy) Crosby.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Alfred Lee Masson. She is survived by her children Patricia Dalton (Kevin) of Buffalo, SC, Michael Masson of Greer, SC, Donald Masson of Taylors, SC and Mark Masson of Easley, SC; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nephews John Masson (Terri) of Utah and Dwight Masson (Jo Anne) of Indiana.

She was an active member of Edgewood Baptist Church, serving on many committees, working with the children’s group, and teaching Women’s Sunday school well into her 80’s. She was also an avid bowler, bowling more than 40 years with the Tuesday Misses League at AMS Star Lanes.

A visitation for Edith will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations 311 Century Drive Greenville, SC 29607 followed by a 2:00 PM graveside service at Graceland East Memorial Park 226 Woodruff Road Simpsonville, SC 29681. Services will be officiated by Ronald Crosby and the Reverend Kevin Dalton.
