Eleanor Wall Allen

She was born in Elberton, GA to the late Longstreet H. Wall and Rebecca Frierson.

Eleanor was a graduate of Winthrop University, former teacher at Eastside High School, and devoted member of Second Presbyterian Church, Greenville.

She enjoyed her bridge club, Women’s Circle group, Young-at-Heart group, walking on the beach and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her sons, Charles A. Allen (Alicia) of Lawrenceville, GA and Philip H. Allen (Elena) of Basiano, Italy; daughter, Jane A. Yonts (Tim) of Lookout Mountain, GA; grandchildren, Zachary Allen of Asheville, NC, Daniel Allen of Columbia, SC and Eleanora Brambilla of Trezzo sull Adda, Italy; brother, Joe Wall of Rome, GA; and sister, Dudley Wade of Decatur, GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her beloved husband, Charles S. Allen, Jr.

Graveside service 11:00 am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Elmhurst Cemetery, 400 N. Oliver St., Elberton, GA 30635.

Visitation 5 to 7:00 pm Friday, December 18, 2015 at The Mackey Mortuary, 311 Century Dr., Greenville, SC 29607.
