Florence Tedstone, age 89, passed away peacefully, going home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2024. Florence (Armitage) was born on February 2, 1935, in Manchester, England. Florence married Charles Tedstone, also from Manchester and moved to the US in 1955, started a family and became US citizens in 1967. In 1970 they returned to England as missionaries for 7 years, coming back to the states in 1977.
Florence was a loving and supportive wife, a mother who nurtured and raised her children in the way of the Lord, and an active grandmother who generously loved and cherished her grandsons. Florence was a strong woman of great faith, not fading but persevering through trials and tribulations experienced later in life.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Steve (Yong) and Mike (Bev) Tedstone, grandsons Jason (Ashley) and Bradley (Hannah) Tedstone, former daughter-in-law, Janet Tedstone, and good friend, Andrea Forsythe. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Tedstone, daughter, Lisa Tedstone, and grandson, Aaron Tedstone.
Memorial services will be held on October 22nd, Tuesday, 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, Taylors, SC.
