

Grace Wild Rhodes of Rolling Green Village, Greenville, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the wife of the late John Andrew Rhodes and the daughter of the late John Conrad Wild and Marcella Pyers Wild.
Grace is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Thomas Streicher of MD; two sons and daughters-in-law: Robert Douglas and Cynthia Rhodes of Fairfield, CT and John Alan and Susan Rhodes of Spartanburg, SC; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Grace was a cheerleader and a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She was an Executive Secretary for Heinz Food Corp, a member of First Presbyterian Church, a Silver Life Master in Bridge (ACBC) which she played up to her death. Grace enjoyed gardening and loved to travel. She has traveled to Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, India, Europe, Alaska, China, and other countries with family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Following the service there will be a reception in Grace’s honor at Rolling Green Village.
