Born October 10, 1933, Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was an active member in the community, attending Pendleton Street Baptist Church, volunteering her time at the Crisis Center, and actively playing bridge and knitting with her “Busy Beez” community of friends. Jean loved to bake cakes, collect holiday décor, ski on the lake, and travel the world. We will miss her deeply.
Jean is survived by her husband, Lee Hudson, her son Rockland Hudson, and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hudson, Thomas Hudson, and Brittany Kilgore. She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews. Jean is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah, grandson, William, her parents, and her brother and 5 sisters.
A visitation for Jean will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. A committal service will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
