Bob, Mike...this is your childhood friend from our life on North Oak. Karen and I were almost like twins through our teen-year summers, hanging out in the upstairs room in my house, going to the swimming pool, shopping at Antioch Shopping Center.  I also remember some 4th of July parties we had when your mother and grandparents came over. Karen and I were obsessed with the English bands, starting with the Beatles, and those who followed. The picture I've attached is Karen, my cousin and me imitating the Beatles, summer 64 or 65.

I am just devastated to learn of Karen's death. I've been trying to find her through other sources for a couple of years, and finally thought about looking in Ancestry. Even though it's going on 3 years since losing her, I hope this note will get to you or her daughter or grandkids. (I believe you, as family can access my email through this site?) My deepest condolences.

To the Jarchows--I worked with Everett at the CPC subsidiary in  Danville, IL, and worshiped together at St. James UMC in the late 70s.  We now live in Greer, and I saw this notice of Karen's passing and wanted to add my condolence.   I remember your father as a statuesque gentleman and consummate professional..  May the Lord be with  your entire family at this time.  Doug and Cheri Harper ( we both knew and had a great respect for both Everett and Betty)


Karen and I were long time friends. We met as paralegals and shared a  special bond. She was such a great friend and one I will miss. She was always willing to help anyone at work and had many friends.  I am truly sorry for her loss. May god bless the family.
