She adored her family and was the ultimate nurturer, always giving of herself as a loving and selfless caregiver. She worked alongside her husband and did not retire until the age of 85. Laura loved to travel and faithfully attended her grandchildren’s activities, supporting them with pride and joy. She appreciated the beautiful things in life and carried herself with elegance and warmth. “Grace in her steps and love in every gesture” perfectly reflected the way she lived each day.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzo Greene; and her first husband Charles Clyborne; her parents; her brother, Jesse Bost; and her stepson, Lon Greene.
She is survived by her children, Charles Jerry Clyborne (Jane) and Ann Clyborne Dobson (Lindsay); stepchildren Lynn Rademacher (Verle), Patrick Rademacher (DeDe), and Justin Rademacher (Kaitlyn). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Christy Jackson (Fred), Ashley Thigpin (Julian), Lauren White (Kevin), and Courtney Grass; along with her great-grandchildren Morgan Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Jonah Thigpin, Jobe Thigpin, Addison Grass, Hunter White, Peyton White, Eric Moe (Danielle), David Moe, Bennett Moe, Adalynn and Grant Rademacher.
Laura was a devoted member of Taylors First Baptist Church, and her faith was not something she merely spoke of—it was the very foundation of who she was.
A special thank you to the caregivers at NHC Mauldin for their loving care. Also, a special appreciation to Tammy Workman for her dedicated care.
