Maye Webb Foster Tatum passed away at her home Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was a native Greenvillian, wife of the late Odes Dillard Tatum, Jr. and the daughter to the late Joseph A. and Majane Webb Foster.
Maye Webb is survived by her children: Majane Foster Tatum, Carol Tatum Inglesby and Charles Webb Tatum; four grandchildren: Maye Webb Roane McCauley (Rodney), Temple Martin Roane, II, Ronald David Pitts, II (Whitney) and Charles Hugh Tatum; six great grandchildren and sister, Elizabeth Foster Phillips. She is predeceased by son, Odes Dillard Tatum, III, son-in-law Allen Jervey Inglesby and sister Joeanne Foster Boyle. She was devoted to all of her family.
Maye Webb was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards with her friends and played tennis until she was 85. She was a member of First Baptist Church Greenville. Throughout her life Maye Webb served on numerous boards and committees. Her most recent being, Sarah Gossett Home, Meals on Wheels, Junior League of Greenville and Wildwood Garden Club.
A private service will be held at Springwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greenville Cancer Society, First Baptist Church Greenville or a charity of ones choice.
