Born in Piedmont, SC., she was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Weldon Andrew McCoy.
Surviving, two sons, Ron Powers and wife, Shirley, of Greenville, and Andy Powers and wife, Dianne, of Easley; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband William R. Powers Sr.; three children, Chris Powers, Barbara Powers, and Cathrine Powers.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
