

Born in Seward, Nebraska she was a daughter of the late Rex and Velma Parrish Bell.
Pat was a kindergarten teacher after attending Doane College. Later she owned and operated a children’s clothing store, Callander’s Collection, and a coffee house, Coffee Street Coffee Shop. Pat was also a building contractor with her own company, Pat Callander Homes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and never met a stranger. Pat will be remembered by her many friends who experienced her caring nature and generosity.
She was a long-time member of Saint Alban’s Episcopal Church in Lexington, S.C. and attended Christ Church in Greenville, S.C.
She is survived by her loving family: her husband, Anthony A. “Tony” Callander, of the home; her daughter, Jill Weaver; her son, Craig Volz and fiancée, Josie Young; her brother, Leon Bell; her sister, Barbara Sherman; and her five grandchildren : Sydney, Addison, Gabrielle, Delany, and Lily Ann.
Mrs.Callander is at The Mackey Mortuary where the family will receive friends Friday evening, June 26th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, June 27th at 11:00 am at Christ Church with the Reverend Bob Chiles officiating.
Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
