Patricia L Mazurek

Patricia Ann Lalley Mazurek, 83, of Leesburg FL, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the home of her devoted daughter who provided her with loving care, Deborah A Lodge, in Chester, S.C. Born January 30, 1928 in Grafton WV she was the daughter of the late Joseph Paul Lalley and Bertha Bishop Lalley. She was predeceased by her husband E. I. (Frank) Mazurek, a brother-James Lalley, sisters-Jo Clare Lalley and Rose Lalley McGinnis and a niece-Mary McGinnis Morris.

Pat graduated from St. Augustine Catholic School in 1946, which she attended from first grade through her senior year. She has remained friends with her classmates through the years. Always caring and compassionate she has maintained numerous friends across the country. She was quick with a smile, had a great sense of humor, always enjoyed a good joke and was known to pull off a few practical jokes herself. She was an avid fan of WVU football and the Boston Red Sox. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Leesburg, FL and was a volunteer at St. Paul’s Thrift Shop.

She leaves to mourn her passing daughters Suzan Lodge Gotch (Alan) of East Hampton CT, Deborah Ann Lodge (Norman Bryant) of Chester SC, Michelle Lodge of New York NY, Johnna Lodge (Robert Konet) of Mableton GA and son Mark Mazurek (Cindy) of Longview TX. She also leaves five grandchildren and six great grandchildren who were the light of her life. James Cole (Angel) of Elkins WV, Renee Foster (Gregg) of Roebuck SC, Patrick Moss of Chester SC, Elizabeth Katzmaier (David) of East Northport NY and Brooke Cox (Bo) of Buda TX and Whitney, Lindsey and Haley Foster; Jordyn Cole; Anna and Ella Katzmaier. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P. O. Box 4527, New York NY 10163, or to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 500 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
