

Born in Danvers, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late George Gordon and Gertrude Perry Foley.
Peter was a 1966 graduate of Lowell Technological Institute. After graduation he honorable served in the U.S.A.F. during the Viet Nam conflict. Upon discharge Peter joined General Electric in Schnectady, NY where he worked as a Mechanical/Nuclear Engineer at KAPL/MAO.
Following that, Peter worked in Generator NPI where he was awarded 5 Patents for his designs. Pete finished his career in Wind Turbine Engineering in Greenville, SC In 2012, after 37 years with the company, Pete retired and spent his time serving on his HOA and traveling the world with his wife. He attended Simpsonville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 49 years, Judi L. Foley of the home; his son, Kevin P. Foley of Schnectady, NY; his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Allen Rudolph of Eatonton, GA; a brother, Michael Foley and wife, Ann; and sister, Patricia F. Tallo; all of MA; and his two beloved grandchildren, Corrinne and Graham Rudolph.
A service to celebrate his life will be Thursday, March 10, at 1:00 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary with the Reverend Joel Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at a reception at the mortuary.
The committal service at M.J.”Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery will be private.
