Preston Milford Scott, 76, of Taylors, passed away January 11, 2015. Born in Conestee, he was the son of the late Milford and Florine Thrasher Scott. Preston owned and operated Scott’s Trim Shop for 46 years. He was a member of Resurrection Church, Greer. He enjoyed time with his family, hunting and camping. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Sue Scott; his son, Brian Keith Scott and his wife Christel; his brother, Robert Scott, two sisters, Judy Segars and Betty Lynch; three grandsons; one great grandson; and two great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Scott; brother, Jerry Scott; and a grandson Dylan Bonck. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 2:00pm at The Mackey Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the mortuary. Online registry is available at www.mackeymortuary.com
