Rachel Grant (Woodall) Haraka passed from this life into eternal glory at the age of 66, Saturday, November 30, 2013 surrounded by those she loved and held dear at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando, Florida. Born to Douglas Clayton Grant (deceased) and Louise Isabelle Fitzgerald (deceased) on July 16, 1947 in Tyro, Nelson County, VA. She leaves behind her husband Ellis K. Haraka of Orlando, FL and was the widow of Ronnie Wesley Woodall. Her daughters: Heather (Brian) Patton of Mauldin, SC; Amber (David) Thomas of OH; and step-daughter Tracey (Wendell) Furtick of Lexington, SC. Sister: Rebecca Jessie (Lee) Shane of Longwood, FL. Brother: D.C. (Nancy) Grant of Schuyler, VA. 9 grandchildren: Ashley and Sean Patton, Noah and Caleb Woodall, Sarah and David Thomas, Ivie, Luke, and Jenna Furtick and Baby Rachel due in February. She was retired from sales and VP/Owner/Operator of her company Rainbow Carpets and Interiors of Orlando. The family will hold a graveside prayer vigil at 11 am on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC.
