Sallie Bartles Owens, widow of the late Roy Leslie Owens, passed away July 3, 2015. Born in Union, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Bartles, Jr., and Stella Early Bartles. Sallie raised her family and then started her career at Greenville Hospital System in 1976. She retired in 1994 to be a full-time Grandmother. She loved God, her family and her friends intensely. She was a member of Fellowship Greenville. She enjoyed her hobbies of gardening and reading. Surviving are her two daughters, Leslie McConnell and Carey White; son-in-law, Danny White and grandson, Zachary White. Services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00am in the Mausoleum of Graceland East Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home of Danny and Carey White immediately following the services.
