Born in Utica, New York, he was a son of James Edwin Brunson and Harriett Crosbie Baxter Brunson.
In addition to his wife, Scott is survived by two sons, Chris Brunson and Justin Brunson (Maggie); a daughter, Audrey Brunson; a step-son, David Clark; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Mann. He was predeceased by two brothers, Tommy Brunson and Craig Brunson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 1 Pine Knoll Drive Greenville SC 29609. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home prior to the service.
