She was predeceased by her parents, Ross C. Herd and Venice Dill Sessoms and a daughter Cheryl Culbertson.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Tonia Hollingsworth and Kim Porter (Michael) of Easley, S.C.; sisters Patricia, Linda, Freddie and Donna. Also by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville, SC 29609.
