If you knew Terry you would know that he loved the Lord and he truly was the hands and feet of Jesus. If Terry ever saw a need he always found a way to help. He truly had a servants heart.
Terry loved to sing and for over 30 years he sang with the Sweet Spirit Quartet and would perform as Elvis and Willie Nelson. With his gift of music, Terry ministered to everyone through song and show.
He loved his church and was proud to be part of the stand to follow God's word. He enjoyed fellowship with friends through his many hobbies, especially golf and fishing. His hope was that many more would come to know the love of Jesus and accept him as Lord and Savior.
Terry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan; sons Ty (Tracy) Tysinger and Barrett (Haylie) Tysinger. Grandchildren Hayden, Henry, Hampton, Ashlyn, Zack, Nathan and brother Roger (Sue) Tysinger. He loved being Papa Terry and cared deeply for all of his family; he took care of everyone so well.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph, Sr. and Mary Ellen Neal Tysinger and brother Joseph Tysinger, Jr.
A visitation for Terry will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Covenant Church - Greer, 1310 Old Spartanburg Rd. Greer, SC 29650. The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Covenant Church - Greer, 1310 Old Spartanburg Rd. Greer, SC 29650. Burial will follow the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Wade Hampton Blvd. Greenville, SC 29609.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made on behalf of Terry to Daily Bread Ministries Step Program 521E. Poinsett St. Greer, SC 29651.
