

His strong confidence in God’s good and sovereign will, remained with him throughout his cancer journey.
He was born in Presque Isle, Maine, the son of Ken and Bessie Corey.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Todd and Denise Corey of Greenville, SC, Kevin and Catherine Corey of Augusta, GA; one daughter, Gina and Chris Curtis of Greenville, SC; ten much loved grandchildren, Jack, Seth, Joshua, Nan, Kathryn, Knox, Harbor, Corey, Charlie and Christian; one brother, Peter and Martha Corey of Bangor, ME; and one sister, Cindy Boyd of Manchester, NH.
Tim’s passion in life was to serve his Savior faithfully and to make Him known at home and around the world. He fulfilled his love for missions by serving as Vice-President for Men for Missions of Hampton Park Baptist Church, taking many mission trips, and as a board member of World Wide Tent Makers, Building Great Leaders, LivTel, Chaplains of America and Northland International University. After an early retirement from American Petroleum, he became Chief Financial Officer of Northland International University where he was blessed to be involved in the lives of young people preparing to serve his God.
Visitation will be at Hampton Park Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm with funeral service immediately following.
A private interment will be at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mexico Project of EMU International, 209 Roberts Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
