Vivian Marie Jones

Ms. Jones was born in Greenville, SC on April 18, 1937, the daughter of the late Mr. R. Conway Alberson and Mrs. Ethel C. Alberson of Greenville, South Carolina.

Vivian graduated Greenville High School in 1955 and attended General Hospital where she studied to become a Registered Radiology Technician

. She enjoyed her career in the medical field until she retired in 1966 to become a fulltime mother.

She courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis from 1955 while raising two daughters. She was active in her daughters’ lives during their childhood and her community. She was a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church, Dunwoody, Georgia.

Vivian is survived by her daughters, Jan Maria Everett, of Clermont, Ga., Julie Vanessa Jones of Chamblee, Ga., grand-daughter Catherine Everett, and a sister, Connie Jones of Greenville, SC, niece Sandra R. Horton, cousins and numerous great friends, G’nell, Judy and Jean thank you so much.

Services will be held December 3, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. in The Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC, with visitation one hour prior to service.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at www.msfocus.org. Which provided her with services in her need, or to any other charity you deem worthy.
