Walter was born in Vero Beach, FL to Willard Clarence and Martha Mae Chinn. In Florida he was a successful manager and mentor at an electric utility company, followed by a 10 year career as a special education teacher in Fulton County, GA. His humor and wisdom will live on through the many lives he touched throughout his life. He is survived by his two children, Brian Chinn and Kathryn Grammer; his granddaughter, Adley Mae Grammer; and his sister, Marilyn Lofaro.
