Billy & Debbie,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Please know that I have been praying each night for God to give you peace, comfort and strength during this time.  I met your parents (briefly) years ago at Taylor's First Baptist and they seemed so genuine, down to earth people, much like you!  You and your family will continue to be in my prayers.

I am so sad to learn of the loss of Bill and Marsha.  I remember them as active, devoted members of Edward Road Baptist Church while I was the organist at that great place of worship.  They will always be remembered as  great leaders and fantastic examples of God and and His love for all mankind.  My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

If this is the same Bill Norman that worked at Poe Hardware & Supply Company, many years ago. I knew he was great. I am Ann Andrews who was the executive secretary to Crawford Poe. Bill was a salesman and always had a great personality and willing to be of assistance. I also remember Marsha. We were on a camping trip many years ago at the beach. So long ago, but I remember him.

To Billy and family: I was saddened when my dad shared with me the tragic news of your parents' deaths.  I recall both of them from when we were young friends as so warm and welcoming and full of such life and energy.  I know your dad and mine continued to be good friends, having had a long conversation very recently that my dad very much appreciated.  I hope you are sustained by many good memories and surrounded by those who share in your love for your mom and dad.  I am holding you and your family in my prayers as you grieve.  Jay Leach

I am so sorry to hear of Bill and Marsha's (as well as their friends') homegoing although I rejoice that they are with the Lord and reunited with many loved ones. Bill was a true Southern gentleman. I remember him as outgoing, friendly, and jolly. He always had time for people with whom he came in contact--young or old. He had a way of making people feel special.  I always heard in my childhood and he and my daddy (Russell Turner) were good buddies although they weren't together much after they married because of the busy lives they both led.  I know that Bill and Marsha, Uncle Hal, and Daddy are rejoicing together, waiting for their dearest ones to join them. Prayers for Billy, Debbie, their children, and the rest of the family. I am so sorry about this tragic event.  Have sweet memories of being with Marsha at Edwards Road Baptist church.  I am blessed our paths crossed in life.

Bill was a favorite lifelong friend. Worked with Bill for 30 plus years. He and Marsha inspired me to go work in Yellowstone for my 40th year, taking leave of the real world.  Drove out to tell him of my dads death (Crawford Poe).   Bill came by my office a year ago. Got to share memories for an hour or so.   I will surely miss him. 

Bill was my Sunday School teacher at Edwards Road when I was a teen. I later worked with him at The Poe Corporation where he was known for his honesty and integrity. The world was a better place because Bill was in it. Rest in peace my friend.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman were two of the nicest people I have ever known. Mrs. Norman invited my mother to Edwards Road Baptist Church, where we eventually became members. When I was a child, we would pack up their Suburban and go to Paradise Campground in the foothills where Billy and I would fish. 4th of July at Paradise was always a blast. They took my family under their wing during difficult times and treated us like family. Mr. Norman was a man of integrity that I really looked up to, and he had such a good influence on me.  The world was a better place with Mr. and Mrs. Norman in it. I know they are in heaven now, and look forward to seeing them in the future. 

Bill was my first SS teacher when we moved to SC. We also worked together years later at The Poe Corp. He was a wonderful man. Prayers for the family in your loss. Heavens Gain.

Sorry to hear of your loss.  Your  parents were friend of mine the 20 years I was at ERBC.  I would see them occasionally when visiting my sister Ruth B.  You and family are in my thoughts and prayers.
