The many wonderful, happy years John & I had together will always remain dear to me and 
in my heart.  Visiting him at the Mews, sharing memories of our lives together is greatly
treasured. He opened his home and heart to my children, Robert, Kevin, and Sara Ferree, their spouses and my grandchildren.  He was very special to them and will be truly missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. I had the pleasure of working for him for 18 years, a great expierience for me He was a great man. My deepest condolences to him family.

Learning of John's demise is bittersweet. We had so many wonderful, fun-filled times, in Greenwich, NYC,  California & France, with John & Mary, who were truly soul-mates.  John had many wonderful long-time friends, Jack & Diane, Barry & Chris, whom we got to know and party with, whether it be on land or water.  We also met several of John's colleagues who respected his architectural abilities. It was sad to see John's health deteriorate after his initial stroke so we are glad he is now at peace.  It's only fitting to honor wonderful memories of John & Mary with a glass of a fine French red wine. He is someone we will never forget.

John was a great guy, great neighbor, great father to his boys and visionary business man and architect. My condolences to his boys and their families.
