Miriam B. Smith

Born in Corona Queens, NY, she was the daughter of Michael Biener & Christina Ball. She was employed in the Town of Greenwich and worked as the administrative Assistant to the School Superintendent.

She was a member of St Catherine of Sienna. She enjoyed acting in Community theater, dancing, and singing. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and infectious personality that all who knew Miriam could appreciate. She was a great Mom to six boys, Nana/Grandma to 12 and Great Grandma to 12 more. There wasn’t a TV or gameshow she couldn’t solve, Jeopardy was no match for Mom.

She is survived by five sons Edward J Smith-Angela Smith, Kenneth P Smith-Claudia Smith, Robert J Smith, James A Smith, Anthony M Smith-Patricia Smith, twelve grandchildren Alicia, Dawn, Kenny Jr, Brian, Thomas, Hannah, Melissa, Michael, Matthew, Ryan, Aidan, Gavan & nine great-grandchildren Penelope, Jack, Emme, Austin, Johnny, Caitlin, Kelsy, Grace & Faith. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley G Smith & her son Stephen G Smith

A visitation will be held at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, located at 31 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT, 068306512, USA. The visitation is scheduled for January 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
