

Alvin Ray Moody, 70, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at his home in Hackett, AR. He was a co-owner of Southland Tile and in the construction industry for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Margie Moody and a brother, Billy Moody.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Rock Island Community Church with interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda of the home; four children, Terry Moody and wife Lynn, Diane Kuhl and husband Brad, Chris Moody and wife Brandy, and Renee Mayeaux and husband Todd; a sister, Vera Jane Brasher and husband, Chester, all of Hackett, AR; eleven grandchildren, Kaleb Kuhl and wife Molly, Kendra Campbell and husband Kyle, Jordan Plunkett, Zach Plunkett, Devin Kuhl, Tara Moody, Ruben Schultz, Aaron Moody and wife Erin, Amber Gipson, Alex Moody, and Jarrett Sebo; and a great grandson, Travis Moody.
Viewing will be from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M., Thursday, September 1st at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kaleb Kuhl, Devin Kuhl, Ruben Schultz, Aaron Moody, Kyle Campbell, Alex Moody, and Jarrett Sebo.
