Funeral will be 10 am Thursday, October 20 at Hartford Assembly of God with interment at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1-8 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5-7 pm.
He is survived by his wife Ina Jean Layne; two sons, Gary Layne of Hartford and Robert Layne of Fort Smith; one daughter, Sherri Christensen of Grain Valley, Missouri; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Sheldon Layne, Allen Layne, Pete Cepeda, Jimmy Layne, Terry Layne and Ryan Moss.
