He was born June 5, 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He lived in Greenwood, Arkansas and enjoyed playing golf at Vache Grasse Country Club with his friends and family. He blessed many people from a very young age with his beautiful singing voice and he loved playing his acoustic guitar. He spent a lot of time at Lake Ouachita during the summer months and he really enjoyed working on his sailboat. He was always there for his friends and family to lend a helping hand. He was a journeyman electrician and he could fix nearly anything! He was a very soft spoken, kindhearted man who will be dearly missed.
He worked for many years as a Funeral Director at Hot Springs Funeral Home then in his later years at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood where he retired back in 2012. He helped many families through their time of grief.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Carr; siblings Arvid (Butch) Carr and Stephanie Evans; his four children, Sean Caldwell (wife Lyndsay), Kimberly Caldwell Stover of Michigan, Stratton Caldwell (wife Sarah) and Destini Caldwell Stevens (husband Chris) of Hot Springs, AR; five grandchildren, Lauren (10y) and Jackson (4y) Caldwell, August Stover(19y), and Wyatt(5y) and Chandler(11m) Stevens.
