Dean Dalton, 70 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 in his home after a six and a half year fight with cancer. He was retired from Whirlpool, member of Excelsior Baptist Church and member of Fort Smith Hawg Hunters Bass Club.
Funeral will be 10 am Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Excelsior Baptist Church with burial at Evans Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas.
Viewing will be 1-8 pm Monday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5-7 pm.
He is survived by mother, Anna Louise Lewis; daughter, Christie Dalton and her fiancé’ Gaylon Wiseman, Jr. of Greenwood; sister Dianna Kay Price of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Averie Dalton Driscoll and Lanie Jeyne Driscoll.
Pallbearers will be Leigh Bass, Walter Holloway, Jim Bailey, Pat Izell, Larry Hedge and Jesse Hedge. Honorary pallbearers will be Kala and Phillip Wright and the Greenwood Class of 1963.
