Donald Ray Denman, 79, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 in his home. He was born February 25, 1946 in Merkel, Texas to George and Rose Lee (Britton) Denman. He was a retired poultry farmer, member of Faith Chapel in Hartford and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Denman; one son, Bryan Denman; four daughters, Donna Parker, Missy Polhemus, Angie Hunt and Tammy Medley; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Denman and Lonnie Denman and three sisters, Margrite Rudd, Billie Patterson and Carolyn Stevens.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 8 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial with military honors at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jon Noel, Ben Noel, Sheldon Robison, Jamie Hollinghead, Rossi Morris and Joe Gish.
