Dorothy Charlene Campbell, 87, passed from this life into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, February 6, 2026 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born in Booneville, Arkansas to Flora Ellen (Smith) Green and Buford Everett Green.
She loved being with family, reading, her Jesus and her church. She also loved making her famous peanut brittle and giving it to the ones she loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Wayne Campbell, Sr.; an infant son, Mark; a daughter, Debra Dean Jones and two brothers, Edward and Damon Daulton.
She is survived by a daughter, Stacy Lunsford (David) of Greenwood; a son, Dallas Wayne Campbell, Jr. (Nancy) of Sequim, Washington; a son-in-law, Stan Jones of Lavaca; two sisters, Ellen Woodson of Paragould and Lynn Nelson (Walter) of Booneville; three granddaughters, Jessie Lunsford of Fort Smith, Kelly Buckner (Alex) of Greenwood and Audrey Freeman of Lavaca; two grandsons, Billy Jones (Kathy) of Heavener and Chad Lunsford of Conway; eleven great grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 10 at the Living Word Tabernacle in Booneville under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
