Edward Lewel Holland, 85, of Huntington, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, November 6, 2023 in his home, surrounded by his loving wife, Dian and his children. Lewel was born on June 22, 1938, just a few minutes after his twin brother, Reuel to parents, Robert Reuel Holland and Mildred (Adams) Holland. Lewel was born and raised on a ranch just outside of Greenwood. He was a lifelong cattle rancher, never retiring from the job he loved.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dian, two brothers, Reuel and Frank Holland and his children, Brian, Maria, Suzanne and Tara. He will be missed by his many grandchildren, whom he loved sharing his ice cream and candy.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday November 10 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Dawson Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Holland, Alexander Ekstrand, Sebastian Berryman, Ryan Schnellenberger, Marcus Ekstrand and Ben Bogner.
