Gerry Dale Edwards

Gerry Dale Edward, 83, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in Waldron. He was born August 21, 1940 in Greenwood to Chester Lewis and Erma Mae (Martin) Edwards. He started farming when he was 18 years old and continued until he retired in 1999, he also had worked at Mead Container. He was a member of James Fork Baptist Church in Mansfield.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda Edwards; one son, Owen Edwards and wife, Andrea of Mansfield; three brothers, Dwayne Edwards of Hartford, Lewis Edwards (Treva) of Mansfield and Roger Edwards (Debra) of Mansfield; two sisters, Sharon Tucker of Clarksville, Tennessee and Pat Gallimore (Verman) of Mansfield and two grandchildren, Alyson and Avery Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Edwards.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 3 at James Fork Baptist Church in Mansfield. Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Edwards Lewis Edwards, Roger Edwards, Verman Gallimore, Donnie Ray Edwards and Gerry Edwards.
